Building the Cantata Workspace

1. Select two images of the same size, for instance lenina.viff and barcode.viff and display them. Use operators User defined and Display Image
2. Build a chessboard image. Follow the instructions in the experiment Chessboard Generation.
3. Use the Gate Data operator to combine both images, using the chessboard image to select how to compose the resultant image.

Exercises

• Create a zoom of a portion of the resultant image.
• Combine two images by using an weighting function, like F = k*A + (1-k)*B.
• Create a combination of a grey image and a colored image. (this problem is difficult)
