Sinusoid Data

1. Use the operator Sinusoidal to generate both the 1D and 2D data sets shown in the previous page. The parameters used are the same explained in the equations. You specify the frequency by given the number of cycles in the data dimension (n).
2. Show the data sets using the 2D Plot and Display Image operators respectively.

• Why does the maximum frequency not depend on the data dimensions?
• What happens if it is specified a larger frequency than the maximum (1/2)?
• Why it was used a phase parameter of 90 degrees to generate the maximum frequency signal?
