Data Representation
Building the Cantata Workspace
-
Read the image gull.viff and display it using the
operators
User defined and
Display Image. All the images used in the DIP course can be found in
the directory "$DIP/data/". In the
User defined operator, you can enter $DIP/data/ in the input file
string field and click in the input file button. This will open the
selected directory and allow you to use the file browser option.
You can then select the image gull.viff by clicking on it.
- Get the header file information with the operator
Data Object Info. This operator extracts the image header of the input
image and creates an ASCII file with this information. To visualize ASCII text,
it is necessary to use a special Text File Visualization
operator called
File Viewer.
- Repeat for the following images:
- $DIP/data/numbers.viff
- $DIP/data/log-enhance-problem.viff
- $DIP/data/gull-color.viff
- For the 1D data $DIP/data/heart-beat-signal.viff use the operator
2D Plot to visualize it.
- For the volume data $DIP/data/bluntfin.viff use the operator
Animate to visualize it.
Exercises
