edithresh: Interactively Threshold (Color) Image


edithresh is an interactive tool for changing the colormaps of data objects. It supports colormap editing via thresholding. A threshold visual object is created and mapped to the screen. The threshold display includes a palette of pixels representing the values of the colormap, and a set of Lower, Upper, and Range scrollbars.

Accesing the "Options" subform enables you to change the policy of the threshold object from Pixel Clipping to Pixel Thresholding and vice versa.

edithresh can be executed from within cantata, or directly from the command line. To interactively process an image from the command line user interface (CLUI) type:


        edithresh -i image.filename
If you wish to use the Graphical User Interface then type:

        edithresh -gui
and wait till you see the graphical user interface.
