puticon: Non-Interactive Display of Iconofied Images


A quick display of an iconofied image can be accomplished by executing puticon from the command line user interface (CLUI), by using the graphical user interface (GUI), or executing it from cantata. There is limited flexibility on the display attributes of this tool.

Clicking on the "Options" button gives access to the display parameters shown on the following pane object.


Image Icon Object Attributes

puticon can be executed from within cantata, or directly from the command line. To display an image from the command line user interface (CLUI) type:


        puticon -i image.filename
If you wish to use the Graphical User Interface then type:

        puticon -gui
and wait till you see the graphical user interface. Now type the image filename in the "Input Image" box.
