Translation, Rotation, Scaling / Geometric Transformations I

In our experiment we want to visualize the effects on an object when we perform translation, rotation and scaling operations.

The translation can also be performed in a periodic fashion. In this case, one can think as the image as a single tile in an infinite periodic image, where there are identical copies of the image outside it. The outcome of this translation, sometimes called translation with wrap, is shown below.
